The Black Bear is North America's most common species of bear. On average an adult male weighs between 150 - 500 pounds and females weigh 100 - 250 pounds. Adult bears are 4 - 7 feet in length and 2.5 - 3.5 feet in shoulder height. Here are some happy clients from past guided bear hunts.
